Clear Goals Are Key To Success

Goal - Know Exactly What You Want

It’s Your Goal – Know What You Want

Goal Achievement Takes Commitment And Follow Through…

…But first you have to break your goal down into smaller parts so that you can take specific actions daily.

You must believe that you can succeed.

Are you having a difficult time taking action on your goals?

Is the procrastination monster rearing it’s ugly head causing stress and inaction?

Are you feeling like goal setting just isn’t all it is cracked up to be?

I gotta tell you that there was a time when I thought I was setting goals the right way, but success just wasn’t coming like I wanted.

The ugly truth was that I was trying to cheat the system by writing out my goals, and making them look great on paper, instead of making my next move forward. I was feeling good, I had a dream.

But I wasn’t taking those critical baby steps that move you along toward your target. And, I failed to use a very important Key To Success…

I lacked clarity, big time. I hadn’t taken time to answer the “What, Why, When, Where, and How” questions properly.

The challenge was that deep inside I felt like it was too time consuming to actually divide them down into the simplest actions to take next. I failed often, and quit more than a few times. I was great at the “BIG” picture, but failed miserably at detailing exactly how I was going to get what I wanted.

I frequently stalled out and felt overwhelmed by the size of my goals. My belief and motivation flipped back and forth depending on my ‘mood’.

I had plenty of excuses. I would like to do this and that, but I just couldn’t find the time or I didn’t know what to do next . . . (did you ever feel this way?)

By not taking the time to clarify exactly what I wanted to end up with and why, I was in fact guaranteeing my failure in each enterprise.

So, I guess the moral of this story is this:

If you are not willing to take the time to get clear on what your goal is, or take the time to plan exactly how you can accomplish it, then my guess is that you are choosing the wrong goal for you. You haven’t answered your ‘questions’ right.

If you want to hit big goals, you must get absolutely clear on what you want. You must be motivated enough to split your goals into the smallest pieces necessary and start right there, right now. If not, then revisit your goals and check to see if they are indeed yours, or what someone else thinks you should go for.

Jeesh, I have been rambling on. Use this key to success (clarity) to easily open the door to your very own, personal rich life.

Got Goals? Write ’em down. Break ’em down. Get ‘er done. Or change what you are going after. Get new goals. 🙂
